Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various driving and delivery-related duties, including:

  • Delivering parts to customers, suppliers, and other company branches.
  • Collecting parts from suppliers, customers, and other branches.
  • Ensuring all parts are transported safely and remain in excellent condition during transit.
  • Assisting customers during deliveries and providing professional service.
  • Inspecting delivery vehicles for damage, defects, missing equipment, and overall roadworthiness.
  • Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, and traffic offences promptly.
  • Ensuring vehicles are securely locked and that keys are stored safely after use.
  • Performing additional reasonable duties as required by the department.
  • Working overtime when operational needs require it.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • A valid driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • A clear criminal record.
