A leading financial institution is offering an exciting Graduate Learner Programme in Marketing and Communication within the Advice and Investments division.
This opportunity provides graduates with exposure to the banking, wealth management, financial advisory, and investment services sector. The successful candidate will support communication and marketing initiatives that help advisors and customers understand financial planning, savings, insurance, and investment products.
Learnership Programme Details
This opportunity is offered as a 12-month fixed-term learnership agreement designed to provide practical experience in financial marketing, investment communication, and banking industry operations.
Key Responsibilities
1.Communication Support
Assist in preparing strategic communication plans that support Advice and Investments initiatives.
Support internal communication to financial advisors, investment consultants, and frontline banking teams.
Assist with stakeholder engagement and ensure messaging aligns with financial services compliance and communication standards.
2.Marketing Support
Support the rollout of financial marketing campaigns within the Advice and Investments portfolio.
Assist with content development, financial copywriting, and research for marketing campaigns promoting investment solutions and financial planning services.
Maintain campaign and digital marketing content calendars while coordinating across teams.
3.Administrative and Project Support
Track communication requests, campaign timelines, and deliverables.
Assist with preparing reports, meeting notes, and project updates.
Support vendor management and procurement documentation for marketing and communication services
Skills and Attributes
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:
Strong written communication and financial content writing skills
Interest in banking, financial services, wealth management, and investment markets
Ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently
Strong research and financial analysis skills
Excellent organisation and time management
Attention to detail when working with financial information and marketing content
Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business
Basic understanding of digital marketing, social media communication, and online financial content.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields:
Marketing
Communication or Corporate Communication
Media Studies
Public Relations
Journalism Or a related discipline
