Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme 2026 – Pretoria

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) invites applications from students who are currently studying towards qualifications that require practical workplace experience in order to complete their academic programmes.

The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme provides students with the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a professional environment while gaining valuable exposure to financial regulation, financial services, and market conduct supervision.

Participants will learn about the FSCA’s role in promoting financial market integrity, protecting financial consumers, and strengthening financial stability in South Africa’s financial sector.

Purpose of the Programme

The programme supports the FSCA’s mandate to:

Transform the integrity and transparency of financial markets

Protect financial customers by promoting fair treatment by financial institutions

Provide financial customers with financial education

Promote responsible financial conduct and financial stability in South Africa

Rollout of the Programme

Successful candidates will:

Be placed under the supervision of an experienced mentor

Be assigned to a division based on their field of study

Participate in competency-based training and practical workplace learning

Gain exposure to the financial services regulatory environment

 

Who Should Apply

Programme Duration

The programme will run for:

Six (6) months Work Integrated Learning placement, aligned with academic requirements for graduation.

 

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African Identity Document

Must submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Must submit certified copies of academic records or qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in a tertiary qualification requiring workplace experience for graduation

Must demonstrate a strong interest in the financial services sector

 

Fields of Study

Applicants must be studying towards a qualification in one of the following fields:

Business Administration or Public Administration

Supply Chain Management

Public Relations

Project Management
