Türkiye Scholarships 2026 – Study in Türkiye (Fully Funded)
The Republic of Türkiye invites applications for the 2026 Türkiye Scholarships for full-time and short-term study programmes tenable from September 2026. The Türkiye Scholarships programme offers outstanding international students and researchers the opportunity to study at some of the most prestigious universities in Türkiye.
The scholarship aims to build a global network of future leaders committed to strengthening cooperation among countries and promoting mutual understanding among societies.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a citizen of any country (including South Africa)
-
Be a graduate or expected to graduate before August 2026
-
Meet the minimum academic requirements:

70% for Associate and Bachelor’s degrees
-
75% for Master’s and PhD degrees
-
Meet the entry requirements of their chosen programme
-
Not be currently enrolled at a Turkish university at the same level of study
What the Scholarship Covers
Türkiye Scholarships provide comprehensive financial and academic support, including:
University Placement

Placement at a Turkish university and department
Monthly Stipend
-
Undergraduate: 4,500 TL per month
-
Master’s: 6,500 TL per month
-
PhD: 9,000 TL per month
-
Research Scholarship: 25,000 TL per month
Note: The Research Scholarship covers the monthly stipend only.

Fields of Study
Many programmes in Turkish universities are taught in Turkish. However, some universities offer programmes in English and other languages.
Applicants wishing to study in English must provide internationally recognised language proficiency certificates where required.

Türkiye Scholarships does not award scholarships in the field of health sciences at the graduate level.
Applicants can only choose universities and departments offered to them in the online application system based on their academic background.
