The Government of the Netherlands is offering the NL Scholarship for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands for the 2026–2027 academic year. The NL Scholarship is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, together with several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:

Be a non-EEA national

Apply for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s programme at a participating Dutch institution

Meet the specific admission requirements of the chosen institution

Not hold a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands
What the Scholarship Offers

A €5,000 grant
Please Note:
This is not a full-tuition scholarship.
The grant is awarded for one year only.
The scholarship can be received only once.
