About the Learnership Programme
The Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Operations Learnership (NQF Level 2) combines theoretical training with practical workplace experience. Successful applicants will gain hands-on exposure in water treatment plant operations while attending structured classes as part of the programme.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
During the programme, learners will:

Assist in operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants

Monitor water and wastewater quality parameters

Conduct basic laboratory tests
-
Assist with equipment and instrument maintenance

Participate in water sampling and analysis
-
Attend classes and complete assignments
-
Write assessments and complete a practical logbook
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:

Be unemployed
-
Not be enrolled at any institution or registered for another learnership
-
Not have completed any post-matric qualification
(Failure to disclose post-matric qualifications will result in disqualification) -
Have Matric (Grade 12) with:

Mathematics (minimum Level 3)
-
Physical Science (minimum Level 3)

Be a South African citizen with a valid SA ID

Be between 18 and 35 years old
