About ARC-Animal Production (ARC-AP)
The ARC-Animal Production conducts research to improve livestock production, sustainability, and agricultural development in South Africa. The Rangeland and Forage Science unit focuses on pasture management, grazing systems, and forage crop research to support farmers and the broader agricultural sector.
This role offers valuable exposure to scientific research and field-based agricultural projects.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:

Grade 12 (Matric)

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to perform routine and physically demanding work, including in adverse weather conditions

Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and independence

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:

Provide regular verbal and written feedback on field activities

Work closely with research personnel to help achieve project deliverables

Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and procedures
